Message from Kate Markham

Program Manager

Love Is the Solution

Nasser Zaghi, founder and president of Love Is the Solution has worked diligently over the past several years to establish and develop Love Is the Solution as an organization dedicated to educating all people about the causes of conflict and the need for a solution that will lead to world peace. Zaghi's first book, Love Is the Solution - Peace is Possible, was published in the Fall of 2007.  His second book, Pathways to Peace, is expected to be released later this year.  Increased pressures and  escalating stress levels related to his constant involvement with the many aspects of publishing the books, creating a  nonprofit organization, enlisting support, obtaining endorsements, traveling to meetings, seminars, presentations, and simply working too long and too hard, were contributing factors to the stroke Zaghi recently suffered  while traveling home from a Oceans of Gratitude Conference.

I have known Zaghi for fifteen years, and worked closely with him for five years.  As long as I have known him, he has been one to set his goals, step on the path, and tirelessly keep going until he accomplishes his mission. He has helped many people understand the simple truth that love is the only way to peace and happiness.   He is nothing if not persistent and positive in pursuing his goals, which is why he has been so focused on making certain that everyone he meets is aware of Love Is the Solution and the reason it exists. Many who criticized or resisted his message in the beginning have become strong supporters today. Until now, I have not known Zaghi to veer from his course of  enthusiastically, intently, and passionately spreading his message regarding individual happiness and  peace in the world. Now something has changed, and it must not be ignored.  The stroke was a wake-up call for him. It could have been fatal.  Thankfully, he was spared, and left with an undeniable realization.  He needs to slow down, and do it now. There is no other choice.  He must let others carry the world peace project he has envisioned into the future.  We will all support him in making this transition, and send him our love, prayers, and wishes for a complete recovery very soon.

Zaghi is recovering at this time, and will make a statement about his condition and his future plans shortly.
